Mason senior Angela Bizzarri closed out a stellar high school career by
winning her fourth straight 3,200 meter run on Saturday at the Ohio
State Track and Field competition in Columbus. Bizzarri also
claimed first in the 1,600 and was on the Comets' winning 800-meter
relay team.
The Comets finished second overall in girls' Division I with 32 points
behind winner Cleveland Collinwood.
Middletown finished third in the boys' Division I meet and had an
individual champion in Skylar Jones in the 300 hurdles.
Overall there was seven local state champions from the three competing
divisions.
