Amanda Pick
was featured in the spring 2004 issue of Hacks Sports during her senior
season, when she helped lead McAuley to a 19-3
overall record and conference and district championships. She batted
.385 at the plate while posting a 19-2 record on the mound with a 0.31
ERA and 192 strikeouts and pitched back-to-back perfect games on the way

Now a sophomore at Ball
State University, in mid-April Amanda was ranked seventh in the
Mid-American Conference with a .362 batting average and also

she started all 56 games including 35 at second

on the mound. She led the team with 19 runs scored and 10 multiple hit
games and tied for first with 44 hits. Amanda was second on the team
with a .259 batting average and nine doubles. |
