Mount Notre Dame is back in the girls’ Ohio Division I state semifinals for the third straight year after handling Oak Hills 61-42 in a regional championship game on Saturday at Wright State University.

The Cougars (23-3), ranked No. 2 in Cincinnati and fourth in the state, were led by senior Lee Stephens (19 points) and Channing Hillman (12) and Katie Paganelli (12).  Oak Hills (23-3) came into the game riding an 11-game winning streak but were shut down by the Cougars.

Mount Notre Dame, state runner-up last year and state champion in 2004, will play No. 9 Pickerington Central (23-3) in the Final Four at Columbus’ Value City Arena on Friday, March 17 at 6 p.m.
