The honors
keep rolling in for North College Hill junior O.J. Mayo, who helped lead
the Trojans to their second straight Ohio Division III state title last
month.
Mayo, who was recently voted Ohio Mr. Basketball
for the second straight year, has been named to the prestigious Parade
All-America High School Boys Basketball first team. Last season he was
voted to the second team. He was one of two juniors named to the team,
along with Kevin Love of Oswego (Ore.) High School.
Mayo averaged 28 points, five rebounds and over
five assists a game for the Trojans this past season and is widely
regarded as the top junior in the country by most scouting services.
NCH teammate and fellow junior Bill Walker was
voted to the second team after averaging 22 points and 11 rebounds.
