The Little Miami girls’ basketball team continued to build upon its best season in school history by beating Dayton Carroll 60-46 in a Division II regional championship game on Friday night at Vandalia Butler High School.

The Panthers (26-0), ranked No. 1 in the state, won their first regional title and now advance to the state Final Four next Friday at 1 p.m. at Ohio State University’s Value City Arena against the winner of Bay Village Bay or Mentor Lake Catholic.

Three different Panthers scored in double figures led by junior center Courtney Grambley’s 18 points.  Senior guard Jessie Carmack scored 10 points and junior Kelly Hicks added 10 points.

Little Miami jumped out to a 15-8 first quarter lead and stretched it to 27-16 by halftime.  By the second half the lead stretched out to 18 points as the Panthers cruised to the win.
