Elder Advances To Regional Final

Panthers roll past Reynoldsburg

Elder rolled past Reynoldsburg 64-45 at Columbus Fairgrounds Stadium in a regional semifinal game on Thursday night behind 21 points and 15 rebounds from sophomore Kyle Rudolph. 

The Panthers shots a blistering 59 percent from the field and dominated on the boards, holding a 40-13 rebound advantage.

Elder held a 34-19 halftime lead and Reynoldsburg never got closer than 15 points in the second half.

The Panthers (22-2), ranked No. 7 in the state, advance to the regional championship game on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. against No. 3 Lancaster (24-1).
